The Sturgeon project is transforming neurosurgery with AI-driven brain tumor diagnostics, enabling real-time, accurate tumor identification during surgery. This breakthrough tool, currently in use at the Princess Máxima Center, enhances surgical decision-making and improves patient outcomes. Meanwhile, at UMC Utrecht, AI is being integrated into regenerative medicine for cystic fibrosis, using stem cell models and advanced analytics to accelerate personalized treatments, offering new hope for patients.
